PRINT PREPARATION SERVICES: Preparation and correction of graphic design files, Print-ready files – edition, correction, update, adaptation of existing presentations, conference, events, workshops materials or existing graphic designs to offset or digital printing, as well as New Graphic designs made from scratch
– changes in both elements and content of graphic designs, adaptation of projects to offset or digital printing, as well as new graphic designs preparation.
Net price per 40 hours work of our graphic prepress operator
Standard lead date up 4-5 business days (Mon-Fri 8-18, Sat 8-14) to be agreed, depending on the project complexity, as well as the time of delivery of both materials and parameters/information by customer.

We define the terms of cooperation, preffered working time – days and hours of work, the date of commencement of cooperation, as well as the deadline of services. You pay for 40 working hours.
Note! With the order we favour the advance payments with value 25-50% from the entire order (to be agreed), on the base of the PRO-FORMA inovice / VAT invoice. It is possible to settle as a daily payment per a every 8 hours, with a separate invoice or a single invoice with price per 40 hours, less of the advance payments.
We use PrintFactory RIP software, other software, X-Rite spectrophotometers, as well as professional large format Epson printers.

If you decide to start long-term 40 hours or more of cooperation with us, at an extra cost with discounts we can print all our products after agreeing.
Method of reception: electronic shipment. If the projects will be printed, method of reception are: foreign, local and domestic (in Poland) courier shipment – surcharge for the service, free self reception in Warsaw of Poland (to be agreed).
Price does not include 23% VAT tax, printouts, stock photos, vectors. The EU customers with a valid EU VAT (VAT UE) number do not pay a VAT tax.
Before you send the order, please write us a message via email or via contact form.
1). Please define preffered working time – days and hours of work, method of settlement – weekly, two-week, monthly, the date of commencement of cooperation, as well as the deadline of services,
2). Please provide data for the delivery of files and invoice information (if files will be sent to one address),
3). If we approve your terms of cooperation, please pay a advance payment on the basis of the delivered PRO-FORMA invoice / invoice and sent us via email a confirmation of your payment.
A. Edition, correction, update, adaptation of existing presentations, conference, events, workshops materials or graphic designs to offset and digital printing – terms and cooperation.
1). For each job, please define separately the target parameters and the types of alterations, in terms of the printing technique.
The target parameters:
• Cover (brochures, books):
– file names,
– source cover colour space (CMYK, RGB, Grayscale, Spot colours etc.) / cover colour space after edition or correction (CMYK, RGB, Grayscale, Spot colours etc.),
– source cover bleed size / cover bleed size after edition or correction,
– source cover trimmed size / cover trimmed size after edition or correction,
– number of cover pages,
– cover spine size,
• Block (brochures, books):
– file names,
– source block colour space (CMYK, RGB, Grayscale, Spot colours etc.) / block colour space after edition or correction (CMYK, RGB, Grayscale, Spot colours etc.),
– source block bleed size / block bleed size after edition or correction,
– source block trimmed size / block trimmed size after edition or correction,
– number of block pages,
and also:
– distance of graphic objects and texts from the cutting lines,
– folding methods – none, half fold, trifold (letter fold C, zig-zag fold Z), others,
– binding methods (perfect binding, saddle stitched binding etc.),
– printing work style (single-sided, sheetwise – front and back, work and turn etc.),
– press sheet size (if You know),
– cutting die, crease, perforation, varnish masks (included/not included),
– marks parameters in PDF file for production: calibration bars, register marks, crop marks etc. (included/not included),
– others.
The types of alterations:
– boxes, changes of dimensions (formatting, scaling), bleeds adding, text edition, text convertion to curves/outlines, graphics edition, colour changes, colour conversion (i.e. RGB to CMYK colour space etc.), objects modification, overprints, merging of individual PDF files, pages swapping in file, break to a single pages bad prepared middle pages, varnish masks, others.

Jobs for EDITION, CORRECTION, UPDATE, ADAPTATION FOR PRINT should be sent as a composite PDF files or open Adobe (PC) software files – Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop with all necessary items, attached or embedded fonts, bitmaps, graphics, vectors etc. as a attachments (to the 10 MB) or link to download to the written orders via email.

Texts, contact details in text file or email content, logotype/logos in vector version, desired fonts, graphics and high-resolution photos, a scan/photo of the project dummy/mock-up, sample preview of graphic design – please sent by the same way.
Preferred photo files for printing in RGB color space – Adobe RGB, sRGB, high quality, accepted PNG, JPG, TIFF, PSD (Adobe pc) or PDF files. TIFF, JPG – 1:1 format.
If the graphic design / photo is prepared on bleed, has a full-colored background, must be trimed without white margins – bleed dimensions 3-5 mm on each side, 350 dpi resolution, CMYK colour space without additional profiles embedded or set profile Coated Fogra 39 ISO 12647-2:2004 (coated papers), black and white photos with embedded profile Grey Gamma 2.2, flattened without layers, LZW compression or packaged ZIP, project centered on the page, distance of graphic objects and texts from cutting lines (trim size/frame edge) minimum 3 mm, cutting lines in project behind the bleed box, bitmaps in CMYK colour space 8 bit mode per channel, fonts converted to curves/outlines.
For term cooperation, we can create an FTP account for the customer.
To upload us the files above 10 Megabytes, you can use the WeTransfer service, which allows free transfer up to 2 Gigabytes. Go to the

website, select “I agree”, “I accept”, next “Add your files” or “Or select a folder”, add files, in the “Email to” field please type the recipient’s email, such as info(at)filetoprint.waw.pl in the “Your email” field type your email, you can also add a short message, then press the “Transfer” button.
Next you must to Verify your email. In the “Enter verification code” field, please type the code that you’ll receive from the WeTransfer service to your (sender’s) email address, and then press to “Verify” button.
When the upload is complete, the sender should receive an automatic message from the WeTransfer service. Recipient should receive the message with the link that was shared to download. Note! Shared links are active only for 7 days.
3). Jobs should be prepared in CMYK colour space. If the job contains spot colours, cutting die, varnish masks etc. – these components have to be precisely indicated (marked). If the job was prepared in other colour space than CMYK, the customer will be notified and asked about the consent to perform the colour space’s conversion.
Note! The customer shall be held responsible for any potential colour differences that might result from the conversion. The FILE TO PRINT company shall not be held responsible for potential colour differences resulting from converting colour spaces other than CMYK colour space, as well as from converting spot colours (PANTONE, HKS etc.) to CMYK colour space.
B. Graphic designs made from scratch – terms and cooperation.
1). For each job, please define separately the target parameters in terms of the printing technique:
– colour space in PDF file for production (CMYK, RGB, Grayscale, Spot colours, other),
– project trimmed size,
– project bleed size,
– page orientation (vertical, horizontal),
– distance of graphic objects and texts from the cutting lines / trim size,
– cutting die, crease, perforation, varnish masks (included/not included),
– number of pages/number of projects,
– project deadline.
Please message us if you have an existing project in open files from the Adobe software (PC) with all attachments (press quality pictures, logotypes, fonts etc.) and you want to send them for preparation of i.e. a new language version based on an existing layout.

Texts, contact details in text file or email content, logotype/logos in vector version, desired fonts, graphics and high-resolution photos, a scan/photo of the project dummy/mock-up, sample preview of earlier made graphic design – please send us as a attachments (to the 10 MB) or link to download to the written orders via email.
If the graphic design / photo must be prepared on bleed, has a full-colored background, as well as must be trimmed without white margins – photo dimensions or bleed dimensions larger 3-5 mm on each side than trim size.
Preferred photo files for digital printing in RGB color space – Adobe RGB, sRGB, Grey Gamma 2.2, for offset printing in CMYK, Grey Gamma 2.2 colour space, high quality, accepted PNG, JPG, TIFF, PSD (Adobe CC pc) or PDF files. TIFF, JPG – 1:1 format. 350 dpi resolution.

Graphic designs based on an existing layout for preparation (edition, correction, update, adaptation for print) should be sent as a composite PDF files or open Adobe CC / earlier version (PC) software files – Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop with all necessary items, attached or embedded fonts, bitmaps, graphics, vectors etc., as a attachments (to the 10 MB) or link eg. Wetransfer to download to the written orders via email.
If the existing job for offset printing was prepared in other colour space than CMYK, the Customer will be notified and asked about the consent to perform the colour space’s conversion. Note! The Customer shall be held responsible for any potential colour differences that might result from the conversion. The FILE TO PRINT company shall not be held responsible for potential colour differences resulting from converting colour spaces other than CMYK colour space, as well as from converting spot colours (PANTONE, HKS etc.) to CMYK colour space.
If you would sent us only the print preparation order, without printing, it’s necessary that you include specifications of your printing house (e.g. a link to web page). If this condition is not fulfilled, will be applied the general prepress / print preparation rules.
For term cooperation, we can create an FTP account for the customer.
4). Please define separately the deadline of each job.

6). The order starts after:
a). customer has sent all the materials and information, as well as defined the target parameters necessary to complete the job,
b). we receipt the advance payment in the amount of 25-50% of net order value to our bank account, a cash, non-cash payment also via payment terminal exclusively in Warsaw of Poland or after payment for the order added to our Basket.
7). Due date of the order performance is approximate and it is determined by its complexity, as well as the time of delivery of both materials and parameters/information by customer.
8). Before approving the job, customer shall receive a preview file in order to check its correctness, in particular the contact details, and to verify the entire content of the job.
After having done so, customer shall send a written approval to an e-mail.
9). Each graphic project includes unlimited number of correction.
10). Approval is necessary rule to send production file to customer.
11). No complaints regarding the content shall be considered after the approval of a job.
12). Customer receives the approved job in PDF file format (to be agreed), which is prepared to exposure or printing.
